It is undetermined when the full game will be released. Progress is on hiatus, but I do want to create more content for this story in the future since the full story is planned out. But have fun with this shorter game for now!
A Danganronpa fangame! This game has an original cast, plot, and world entirely separate from DR canon (you really don't need to know anything about DR to play this!). It only borrows the most basic concept; a wacky murder game involving ultimate students from the Talent Program.
STORY
You're following the story of Lu, a 21 year old sweetheart who got accepted into the prestigious Talent Program as the Ultimate Relationship Counselor <3
She finds herself at the Monoco Resort and Casino, a fancy retreat that was booked by the INCREDIBLY generous Talent Program for a Super Special Program; all for a special group of 17 students! How lucky are they!
The Super Special Program is meant to be the most fun and educational trip of the students' lives! One that has an indefinite end date. Whoops! More time to learn, live and love alongside your brand new friends!
Buuuut, if a student happens to want to graduate and leave, they’ll have to prove themself through a graduation project; kill one of your classmates and get away with it. We’ll see if anyone can actually pull it off, or maybe they’ll all live in harmony in a fancy resort for the rest of their lives. And that doesn’t sound so bad! Does it?
*One of the many deviations from the DR canon is this is a college-esque program, so all students are adults.

This is a personal project of mine. I'm a team of one with a full time job, but I love creating content for this story in my free time.
I've already planned out the entire story (that part has been finished since 2021)! It's just a matter of figuring out how I want to present the rest of the story, since it's a LONG story and any direction I go will take a long time to create.

This game is currently rated 13+ for language, with a flashing lights warning, but this only applies to the prologue. It will most likely change due to graphic imagery later on.
Donations are appreciated but not required! Anything would go towards me getting new assets for the game such as cool sound effects or music. I do not plan on making any money off this project, since I borrowed the concept from Danganronpa.

i really loved your demo i wish i could make a fangame like you but i have been so busy on school and idk how to make characters on my own
Thank you, I'm really glad you enjoyed it! Making a game does take a ton of work, but I hope you try making your own characters regardless for the fun of it! This has always been a self-indulgent project of mine and I encourage others to do the same! Good luck with school ^_^
I finished playing it last night and I love it so much! All the characters are so cool and pretty (Wyott is my favorite, he’s so my type)! I can’t wait for the next part :)

I love the writing and art
It seems everything is all planned out however, the game is lacking sound effects to emphasize what the characters are feeling and listening to the same music can get tiring
I thought I'd see the "mascot" however, it's a shame the demo ended early

I watched your video, it was a lot of good feedback. Caught some typos that I missed. And I totally agree, I want to add sound effects in the future, just a bit of a time issue at the moment. I'm participating in Artfight and I wanted the demo out before that, so it was a bit rushed.
Sorry it ended on a cliffhanger, but I'm hoping to get the rest of the prologue out by the end of the year, just have to make a lot of art for it to look like how I envision it to.

I watched a few tutorials on how RenPy works and...
I imagine it takes a lot of effort and discipline (which I don't have lol) to program every dialogue, every narration, and then add in the character illustrations and reactions, and then background images.
My goodness, no wonder you were forced to rush it haha.
